More tracks to come, eh? Yes, please! If there’re anything like this one, which, knowing LRR, expect nothing but awesome! 4 years later & I’m still hyped!

LoadingReadyRun is just awesome as a group. And the songs they put out, well, I have absolutely no problem having my kids learn them. Much better than most songs on the radio. I have yet to hear a mention of sex or drugs.

about
As was prophesied in 2004, LoadingReadyRun's comedy rap group returns as they said they would, in Twenty-Thirteen. It's a new generation of consoles, but G Star & JP don't like what they see.
lyrics
[HOOK]
It’s Twenty-thirteen, the word means, it’s Gee,
And JP we’re back, 64 on the scene,
Nobody scream... who cares where we been,
We’re back now to kill em—in twenty-thirteen.
[G STAR]
C-c-click-clack get back, we're on the attack,
We got years worth of slack and we’re picking it up,
on this track, we’re smack-talking, we’re overstocked on an,
Ass-whupping so everyone please form a queue,
Don't gotta proove it, to you we just doo it,
Don’t screw with us or our crew, let’s get to it, and turn,
Smiles to frowns, respect the crowns of
The first internet rappers to lay the smack down.
Pale against the scale of my system specs,
And fail as bad as McHale at the VGX,
In fact forget fail just call it McHale-ing,
I like my Soup fresher than the crap you're exhaling .
OH. Snap. Xbox record that!
Make a GIF of it, send it to my twitch chat
Yeah I said GIF, it's a HARD G, just LIKE me,
I'm GRAPHIC—720p.
Oh, wait I'm sorry, what’s that, an Atari, 720?
Don't tell me, you're trying to offend me,
Or was it 1080 Xbox? Don't hate me,
Just get your stats straight and we’ll settle this like babies.
[HOOK]
It’s Twenty-thirteen, the word means, it’s Gee,
And JP we’re back, 64 on the scene,
Nobody scream... who cares where we been,
We’re back now to kill em—in twenty-thirteen.
[JP]
It's attack track from the dark side of Xbox live
A rhyme in the back from across the map just in time
To remind the whack kids just how leet we rhyme
Woah slow down, "1337 Jer", you're behind the times.
"Oo-ya cuz I can play now on my Android, eh?
Clickin' cows gives me the the grains I need to plant more hay,
and spin my winnings into coins at a max of five per day,
to play the slots for gold drops and top spots and my friends' praise?
It's basically slave labour but it's free to play!"
Man what happened to our video games while we were away?
Where's the love they generated in the golden days
when the Playstation generation took the Nintendo nation
by storm and gave us the thrill of exploration in full three dimensions and self-actualization like we'd never seen before.
Now partitioned and rationed into yearly iterations.
all we see is stagnation and franchise exploitation
we're not gonna take it, the cycle must break
and it's breaking—It's time for a new generation.
64's got the rage an we're here to clean your plate, son.
[HOOK]
It’s Twenty-thirteen, the word means, it’s Gee,
And JP we’re back, 64 on the scene,
Nobody scream... who cares where we been,
We’re back now to kill em—in twenty-thirteen.
[G STAR]
I mean to brag, and I mean to boast,
you know I got a Knack for breaking off some ghosts
Greatness is waiting and I answer the call,
Of duty and above all I'm ready to brawl
Cause everyone looking at me saying whatever,
"such handsome, much smart, wow, very clever"
The power’s―in me, the shine’s―in-you,
So bow down dog, I'm coming through.
[COMMODORE 64]
I'm coming back from when I crashed 20-04
You may know me as the captain but my rank is Commodore
64 is coming back because it's 2013
And you know that in the background there will always be me
The puppetmaster I control MCs and producers
To outprocess and rhyme all of you mortal computers
Your think your keyboard's dope but I can chew on it like chicklets
I'll discharge my CRT to turn your LCD to pigments
It's not really in my style to output tracks like this
But Y2K is past so you have to know what time it is
And that goes for Asus, Motorola, NEC,
Apple, IBM, Samsung, Oracle and HP,
Sharp, Dell, Sony, Visio, Toshiba, Gateway, Intel
Sony, Panasonic, Razer, HTC, Packard Bell.
It's not that have anything against you towers
But just know that if you cross me I will cut your power.
It's 2013 and we are here to stay
Commodore 64 and 64k
[G STAR]
And then the fox said...
Nothing, the fox is dead, he's sitting on Macklemore's head!
And the thrift shop is where they're gonna find you,
On deep discount clearance, by the PS2s
[JP]
You try to step with your v-sync we got G Star and g-sync
We render our Steam shit in Super HD
Kid, get out of our crib we've got all the achievements,
And trophies prestige across all CODs it's
not fair when I bust a double-ultra hundred hits
then stream your defeat just to show all of Twitch
How we stole every kill and denied every streak
Don't forget about Tray—boy we know where we've been,
but we don't need a triforce to show you the links
cus the verdict's defeat and you'd better take a seat, cuz

And JP we’re back, 64 on the scene,
Nobody scream... who cares where we been,
We’re back, we ain’t leavin—twenty-thirteen.

I hope one day LRR are able to make a Road Quest 2, and they get BGC to make the music again. This is an amazing album full of nostalgia for me. :) Cal Alæra

I find it difficult to choose ONE favourite from this, but the end of Trip to Vegas always makes me crack up laughing. Even though I've never played Fallout: New Vegas, the exasperated "Not again" is so applicable to other games...or anything that involves computers being idiots. aceade
